The George Washington Carver museum serves the needs of citizens in Austin through the collections and preservation of artifacts that document the history of African-Americans on city, county, state, and national levels, and it promotes a climate in which African-American artists are recognized for their culturally diverse heritage.
Are you looking for school collaborators?
With help from the teacher, the staff will arrange presentations on special topics in African-American history and culture.
